Manzanar National Historic Site
In 1942, the United States government ordered more than 110,000 men, women, and children to leave their homes and detained them in remote, military-style camps. Manzanar War Relocation Center was one of ten camps where Japanese American
citizens and resident Japanese aliens were interned during World War II.
We will be visiting this historical site because over 100,000 men, women, and children were put this camp, and many others were put into camps just like throughout the west coast. Without trial, or reasonable cause hundreds of thousands of Japanese Americans were put into camp, at the same time losing everything they owned. Later on the Japanese were given "compensation" which was only a couple thousand dollars per family.
While we are in the area we can hop on the magic school bus and head on over to Belagio, MGM, Treasure Island and get rich quick off of the slots, poker, and blackjack.
These are replicas of the 2 atomic bombs were dropped on Japan ending the war, and in tern setting the Japanese free.
This is the "fat man" from fallout 3 that can be a real game changer like the 2 real bombs.
